Fees and Payment

Manual and Automated Tasking Requests have different payment structures due to their distinct nature.

In Manual Tasking the customer will see the amount that will be billed when placing the request, but they will not be billed immediately. Customers will still be able to make changes to activities until they become confirmed. When activities become confirmed they will automatically be billed to the selected payment method.

In Automated Tasking the system will perform an analysis and present a price to the user for acceptance. Payment is collected at the time of placing the tasking request.

If a tasking request cannot be fulfilled Open Cosmos will contact the customer who might elect to procure new images or request a refund. The refunded amount is calculated based on the percentage of the area that has been fulfilled. If no answer is received from the customer within seven days, Open Cosmos will issue a refund.

Product Licences

The Tasking Products purchased through the Tasking Tool are subject to their respective licences.

Restrictions

Different satellites might have additional technical or legal restrictions. Whilst the DataCosmos Tasking Tool will try to avoid showing tasking activities that breach those restrictions, sometimes that might not be possible. As such, Open Cosmos reserves the right to cancel any satellite activity that breaches those restrictions.
