DataCosmos Release Notes - December 23, 2025
Today's DataCosmos release focuses on updates for Tasking Contracts, Email Notifications on Application runs, and address several usability issues across the DataCosmos Platform.
New Features
Tasking Contracts - Lead Time
DataCosmos now adjusts the lead-time for Tasking Requests based on the agreed details from the Tasking Contracts.
The tasking lead time hours is retrieved from the selected contract. The platform then checks all the priorities in the contract and chooses the allotted lead-time. If one is not set for that Customer, the platform defaults to 48 hours. When a the Contract is selected, the Start Date of the Opportunity Searching is updated such that it reflects the tasking lead time in the contract.
Email Notifications from Application
The executed applications, the Platform now sends email notifications to User who initiated email based application - both on success and failure.
From the Application Partner-side, the Platform sends an initial email to allows the Partner to reply with once their application is complete.
Additional Enhancements
Application crashes when special characters (e.g., -, <) are entered into the search input
The search input now handles special characters correctly when entered into the text control.
Errors removing a resource without assignments
For Organisation Admins, the "Delete Resource" functionality has been fixed so that the Platform correctly handles removing of empty resources (without any assignments) and fully clears the resource when a delete is requested.
Application freezes when deleting a layer after modifying its parameters in compare mode
When comparing two visible Image Layers, deleting a layer is now handled correctly; removing the layer from the list and map views. The Platform remains in "Compare Mode" allowing the selection / moving of another layer into the scene.
DataCosmos Help
Older references to on obsolete help system have been removed from the Platform, and the URL now points to the current, maintained Help Centre.
