DataCosmos Release Notes - September 11, 2026

Organization Resources User interface

The Resources tab on the organisation page has been updated with the a "Nested" design.

  • The single view consolidates both owned assets and items granted organisation-wide access into a three-tiered layout:
  • Product (DataCosmos, Mission System Design, Flight Operations System) — expandable section featuring asset counts per category.
  • Resource type (Applications, Catalog collections & items, Projects & views, Programmes & missions). Collapsed initially, displaying typed quantities ("17 projects"), an Organisation or Platform scope tag, and a Grant organisation access action.
  • Resource — item title with an ownership indicator beneath, associated organisation roles and permissions, alongside action controls.

Resources UI 01

A master filter (All · Shared · Not shared · Owned by others) positioned above the product list applies across all categories.

The previous programme listing and per-role "additional linked permissions" areas have been removed. Shared elements remain active for other interface sections.

Nested Resources

Child assets are now embedded directly within their parent row rather than occupying separate sections, unifying three areas:

  • Catalog items inside collections
  • Views inside projects
  • Missions inside programmes

Platform Improvements & Priority Fixes

Clearer Cloud Cover Information for Tasking Opportunities

Cloud cover figures in the tasking opportunity view are now better labelled, making it clear whether the value refers to the field of regard or the confirmed activity, and why the number may change as an opportunity is selected.

Tasking Smoke Tests

Automated end-to-end tests now cover the full manual tasking journey — from creating a request through to credits being charged and refunded on cancellation — reducing the risk of regressions reaching customers undetected.

Orders Section Defaults to Line Items

The Orders section now defaults to showing line items, which is the view most useful to customers and internal teams. The full orders view remains accessible.
